エネルギー省研究所、ミシガン大学を中心とした研究チームが、
アンモニアの触媒作用でセルローズの結晶構造を変え、水素結合
網を再構築して酵素によるセルローズ分解が容易になる前処理方
法を開発した。
これまでより糖化率が5倍になり、セルローズ系バイオ燃料のコ
スト削減が期待される。
