米エネルギー省が2022年までの、燃料を中心にしたバイオエネルギーの2017年と、2022年までの開発目標を明らかにした。水分を含んだ4種類の原料と藻の利用を想定し、2種類の新規技術経路でガソリン換算＄3/ガロンを想定している。
